Assurance Home Service of Hampshire, Illinois, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the ninth year.
President Kathleen Carr opened a landscape and garden center business in 1996. Through the years, she has fostered her love of beautifying homes. Kathleen’s passion for helping people care for their homes led her to start Assurance Home Service, created after her conversations with area homeowners needing someone to look after their homes while they are away.
Over the past 25+ years, Kathleen has visited thousands of homes. These visits helped her become adept at observing not only the landscaping but also the home itself. She uses these observational skills in her Home Watch business. Kathleen holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
Vice-President Christopher J. Carr was in the construction industry for over 30 years. He oversaw the installation of a wide array of construction projects, both in public and private institutions. Chris’s work allowed him to make improvements in schools and universities, churches, and corporate facilities. He is a member of the Sports Industry Network, the Association of Subcontractors and Affiliates of Chicago, and the Association for Operations Management. Chris brings his extensive construction and home maintenance knowledge to Assurance Home Service. The company allows him to continue to assist homeowners through his experienced and watchful eyes.
When not working, Chris and Kathleen enjoy spending time with their adult children and traveling to visit friends and family. They have both served as elders at their church.
