Congratulations to Coastal Carolina Home Watch of Myrtle Beach, SC, on their SIXTEENTH-year accreditation!

Steven Montesano

I take a lot of personal pride in announcing that Coastal Carolina Home Watch of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has earned its NHWA accreditation for the 16th consecutive year. The reason for my pride is that this is the first year since 2005 that I am not at the helm of this fine organization. Coastal Carolina Home Watch (CCHW) became the founding member of the National Home Watch Association in 2009. It is the reason the NHWA exists. And the growth of the NHWA is why I made plans with CCHW’s new owner, Steven Montesano, in 2021 for him to come aboard, learn the business, and take the reins from me—which happened this past January.

A native of Guilford, Connecticut, Steven joined our team in 2021 bringing his 40 years of construction, real estate, and property management experience with him. His keen eye and proficiency in handyman services made him a great fit to acquire CCHW and continue its legacy of being the premier Home Watch company serving clients on the Waccamaw Neck and Grand Strand of South Carolina. Renowned for its discretion, confidentiality, and tailored services, CCHW has alleviated clients’ concerns during their absence. Steven is committed to maintaining those values. CCHW is not only licensed, insured, and bonded, but each team member has been criminally background checked and holds the Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) designation. This designation requires the highest of ethics, tested knowledge, as well as continuing education, and retesting.

Since moving to Myrtle Beach in 2016, Steven and his wife, Deb, have embraced the coastal lifestyle, enjoying local theater productions and exploring the region’s history, food, and shops.

Coastal Carolina Home Watch services discerning clients in Little River, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Garden City Beach, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach, Pawleys Island, and Georgetown, specializing in the communities of Cherry Grove, Grande Dunes, Living Dunes, Carolina Forest, The Golden Mile of Myrtle Beach, Market Common, Prince Creek, Briarcliff Acres, The Reserve, Litchfield by the Sea, Prince George, and Debordieu Colony. Contact them at (843) 357-4440 or services@cchomewatch.com. Visit their website at https://cchomewatch.com.

And so, after almost 20 years of calling myself the boss, I wish Steven and the CCHW Team the absolute best of luck.

Congratulations again, Steven!

As always, I wish you

Much success,

Jack Luber Executive Director
