Founded and led by Pete and Diane Santiago, Desert Home Guardian Services (DHGS) is a leading Home Watch company and vacation rental assistance provider serving Arizona homeowners. Pete and Diane's hands-on approach and unwavering commitment to ethical practices, risk mitigation, and quality service have solidified DHGS's reputation as a trusted choice for property guardianship during a homeowner’s absence.
Paramount to DHGS's service offering is the Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) designation held by its principals. This certification is awarded to NHWA Home Watch members who demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in the Home Watch industry, pass a comprehensive exam, and are committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education credits. Recertification is required every two years to ensure that DHGS remains at the forefront of industry best practices. Diane sits on the NHWA’s Executive Committee and Advisory Board. Pete is an NHWA Home Watch Boot Camp training program instructor.
