GMan Home Watch of North Port, Florida, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the second year.

Owner Jason Cummins grew up in a small town in Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he majored in Economics and Business. While in college, Jason held several jobs, including installing and servicing pools, working in home building, and sales. In 2011, he married Jennifer and began working at a large St. Louis pest-control company, where he served as both a technician and branch manager. Jason and Jennifer welcomed a son in 2013 and a daughter in 2015. Jason’s parents retired to Punta Gorda. After Jason and Jennifer’s first visit to Florida, they knew this was where they wanted to raise their family. The quaint town reminded them of their hometown in Missouri. It also had the significant benefits of beautiful weather and many opportunities for their children.

In 2018, the family relocated to Southwest Florida. Jason transitioned into the job of an HVAC technician and worked for a prominent company in the Charlotte County area for the next six years. He honed his skills during this time, learning the ins and outs of HVAC, including servicing, installing, and troubleshooting air conditioners and refrigerators for commercial and residential customers. Jason earned a reputation for being knowledgeable, honest, and dependable.

While in HVAC, Jason met Jorge and Barbara Martinez and started learning the details of the Home Watch industry. When the opportunity arose to purchase GMan Home Watch, Jason knew it was the right choice. GMan had established a reputation and relationship with the community. Their dedication to providing the highest quality service perfectly aligned with Jason’s skill set and desire to be an asset to the community.
