I am extremely pleased to announce that Hudnall’s Home Check Services of Fort Myers, Florida, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the 12th year.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Ron and Nancy Hudnall over the past twelve years. They had started Hudnall’s Home Check Services in 2009 and attended our North American Conference here in Myrtle Beach in 2014. Their involvement with the NHWA has greatly benefited all of us in the Association.

Ron and Nancy’s decision to start Hudnall’s Home Check Services was influenced by their extensive careers and deep ties to Fort Myers. Ron completed a distinguished 28-year career with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, where he was a highly decorated officer and received a Lifetime Achievement Award. His work with the Crime Prevention Unit involved educating homeowners about home security and Neighborhood Watch programs. Given his impressive background, transitioning to checking on unoccupied homes was a natural fit for Ron.

Nancy, a licensed Realtor since 1994, previously worked as a 911 operator and dispatcher at the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, where she and Ron met. In her real estate career, Nancy frequently encountered issues with unoccupied homes and received numerous requests from part-time residents to hold onto their keys “just in case.” Recognizing the need for a reliable Home Watch service in Fort Myers, she and Ron saw a perfect opportunity to provide this essential service.

Both Ron and Nancy have earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) from the NHWA, placing them among the elite in the Home Watch industry. The CHWP designation underscores their commitment to delivering excellent service to their clients.

Married since 1986, Ron and Nancy are the proud parents of Patrick, a stage lighting engineer also based in Fort Myers. The Hudnalls are deeply involved in their community, which they have served and lived in their entire lives.
