Moore Than Maintenance of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the second year and the Canadian Home Watch Group.

Marcelline Moore is the Principal Operator of Moore Than Maintenance Home Watch Services in the beautiful little city of Nelson, nestled in the Kootenay mountains. Marcy first came to the Kootenays with her father when she was ten years old. Her heart stayed in the mountains, and for the next forty years, the Nelson area was her home away from home as she worked and raised her two sons on Vancouver Island and in the Lower Mainland area of Vancouver, BC. After her boys left the nest, Marcy finally set out to plant her roots back home in Nelson.

Marcy enjoys the best things the Kootenays have to offer, with hiking, camping, fishing, and photographing the breathtaking scenery and colors of the four seasons of Nelson. She loves to help her friends and neighbors, and for the past few years, she has watched over their homes while they travel for business or pleasure. After discovering that most homeowners are unaware that their home insurance policies require a responsible person to be watching over their homes while they are away, Marcy realized a need for a Home Watch company in her community, and Moore Than Maintenance Home Watch Services was created.

With a background as a correctional officer and in retail management, maintenance, and customer services, this was an easy fit for Marcy.
