Congratulations to Toronto Home Watch of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on their tenth-year accreditation!

Deena Friedman

Toronto Home Watch of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the tenth year.

I want to congratulate Deena Friedman for not only the tenth year of NHWA Accreditation for Toronto Home Watch but also for helping the NHWA blaze a trail for Home Watch in Canada. She is highly active with the National Home Watch Association; she served for many years on our Advisory Board, and she is spearheading what we are calling our Canadian Initiative to establish Home Watch standards nationwide.

Deena launched Toronto Home Watch in 2015 to meet the needs of homeowners in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), particularly those whose properties remain unoccupied for extended periods. Many homeowners are snowbirds, cottagers, travelers, and foreign investors who leave their homes unattended for much of the year. In Canada, many homeowners’ insurance companies require homes to be checked as often as every 48-72 hours to maintain coverage. Insurance claims for damage due to issues like burst pipes or flooding can be denied if a property goes unchecked during this period. Recognizing this need, Deena and her team bring over 30 years of property management expertise to ensure homes are monitored and well-managed.

Deena has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) from the NHWA, placing her among the industry’s elite Home Watch providers. The CHWP designation shows her commitment to providing excellent service to her clients.

Toronto Home Watch is fully insured, and its employees are bonded. They have undergone police background checks for added peace of mind. They provide Home Watch, keyholder, concierge, and estate assistance services across the GTA. Their estate services support trust officers and estate managers with property security, lock changes, and donation management for charitable contributions from estate contents. Toronto Home Watch is dedicated to making home ownership and property management a smooth, enjoyable experience.

Toronto Home Watch serves the Greater Toronto Area and Vaughan. You can reach Deena at (647) 490-5115 or info@torontohomewatch.net. Learn more at www.torontohomewatch.net.

Congratulations, Deena!

As always, I wish you

Much success,

Jack Luber Executive Director
