Congratulations, Vermont Home Watch of Jericho, VT, on your third-year accreditation!
Kim and Charlie Posnick
Vermont Home Watch of Jericho, Vermont, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the third year.
Owners Charlie and Kim Posnick started Vermont Home Watch after discovering that Vermont was the only state in New England without an Accredited and Certified Home Watch service. Vermont’s harsh winters are particularly hard on a home, especially when unoccupied. Charlie and Kim say, “Whether it’s your primary home, second/vacation home, or a vacant home waiting to sell, a home that’s unoccupied is a vulnerable home.” They add, “Another primary reason we started Vermont Home Watch is because of all the collaboration and support we get from being an NHWA member.”
Charlie graduated from NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP), which places him among the industry's elite Home Watch providers. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Vermont Home Watch’s commitment to Home Watch excellence. Charlie also sits on the NHWA’s Marketing.
Kim is a native Vermonter and has enjoyed being a salon owner for almost 20 years, as well as having been a childbirth educator and substitute teacher. She has raised four children and now enjoys spending time with her 10 grandchildren. At a very young age, Charlie worked in his family’s retail business in Rhode Island, including conducting customer service training across seven retail locations. After graduating with a business degree from Northeastern University, Charlie enjoyed a long career in the software industry as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Being a QA Engineer requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and solid people skills. Charlie has lived in Vermont for 15 years and volunteers as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Family Division of Juvenile Court, where he represents the best interests of children involved in cases of neglect.
Kim and Charlie (along with their border collie mix, Gracie) built a farmhouse on 10 acres in Jericho. They understand how a home is constructed and what’s required to care for and maintain it.
Vermont Home Watch serves all of Chittenden County, plus Waterbury, Stowe, and the Islands. You can reach them at (802) 881-3278 or info@vthomewatch.com. Learn more from their website, https://vthomewatch.com/.
Congratulations, Charlie and Kim!
As always, I wish you
Much success,
Jack Luber Executive Director
