Guardian Shepherd Home Watch of North Port, Florida, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA for the second year.

Owner Shaun Lissow was born in Upstate New York, but he’s lived and worked in Southwest Florida since 2006. He retired from law enforcement as a Commander after 21 years of service.  Before his law enforcement career, he proudly served for five years in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Machinery Technician/Boarding Officer. Shaun has always enjoyed helping others and feels his Home Watch business is another way to do just that.

Shaun holds an associate's and bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and a master’s in Professional Studies. He earned the FBI LEEDA Trilogy certificate, the Florida Leadership Academy certificate through the FDLE, and numerous other law enforcement-related certifications.

Shaun wanted to get into the Home Watch business to continue helping his community and working to ensure that citizens have their properties professionally taken care of.

Shaun graduated from the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP), placing him among the industry’s elite Home Watch providers. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Shaun’s commitment to Home Watch excellence. 

Shaun enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and animals. He loves the outdoors, enjoying activities such as cycling, hiking, camping, and woodworking. He believes that the more time he spends outdoors, the better his life is.
