Blake Hoonhout
Manatee Home Watch of Bradenton, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the third year.
Owner Blake Hoonhout is a longtime resident of Bradenton. He graduated from Florida State University and holds a master’s degree in Humanities from New York University. Blake taught high school English for 13 years and was deeply involved in the local community before starting Manatee Home Watch.
Blake started Manatee Home Watch because his mother, a veteran local realtor, pointed out the need for professional Home Watch services in his area. She had plenty of horror stories of clients returning from the North to pest infestations, roof leaks, air conditioning issues, mold, and more. The need for a service that provided detailed home monitoring, risk mitigation, and peace of mind for part-time residents was clear, and that became the focus of Manatee Home Watch.
With professional reporting for insurance purposes, thorough home checks and communication, a high-level of customer convenience (even for remote clients), and a vetted vendor list should an issue arise, Blake and his team ensure a premium level of care for their clients’ homes.
