Laney’s, Inc., of Fargo, North Dakota, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA.
Tom Nelson has lived in the Fargo-Moorhead community his entire life, residing in Fargo with his family. He enjoys being active professionally and personally in the region. He is committed to improving his community every day, making it a great place to raise a family and for businesses to thrive. Tom has over 30 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, certified electrical production and installation, and service-based businesses. He serves as President of Laney’s and is one of the four owners. Tom is thrilled to introduce Home Watch services to Laney’s.
Joel Carlson enlisted in the military at age 17, where he was assigned a position in HVAC. He went on to receive his associate’s degree and, over 30 years later, is still working in the field, currently serving as an owner and Install/Sales Manager with Laney’s. Joel has called this area home his entire life. He lives in the country with his wife, Jill, and three dogs. Joel has three daughters and four grandchildren. Joel is excited about adding a Home Watch service to the business as he feels it is a natural fit.
Troy Salonen grew up helping his father in the plumbing and excavating business in Glenwood, MN. After high school, he attended Moorhead State University, where he received a degree in Music Industry. He worked in the music retail industry, started his own music store business, and has been a member of various rock bands for many years. In 2009, Troy returned to the service industry with Laney’s. He is an owner of the company and Vice President of Service. He lives in Fargo with his wife of 33 years, Roxane, and has five grown children. Troy is hoping to receive the title of Grandpa soon!
Jodi Kyllo was raised on a farm near Hillsboro, ND. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and earned a degree in Accounting. Upon graduating, she began her career in Minneapolis with a private global agriculture and food processing company. In 2016, she joined Laney’s as Controller. Jodi enjoys taking walks in the country and spending time at their Minnesota lake home with her husband, Steve. They live on a farm near Blanchard, ND. They have a son, daughter-in-law, daughter, and two grandsons.
