3 Palms Home Watch of Ave Maria, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Co-Founder James Petro brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to the Home Watch sector. He has built a wide range of homes, from modest one-story houses to luxurious 57-story high-rise buildings, always emphasizing quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. With his extensive knowledge of home building and his credentials as a Licensed Site Superintendent, Licensed Site Safety Manager, and OSHA 30 Certified Professional, James is well-equipped to ensure that the homes under his watch are maintained to the highest standards. 

When he’s not working, Jim enjoys playing golf, watching and attending Formula 1 races, and spending quality time with family and friends. 

Co-Founder Erik Mitchell, a U.S. Army veteran, also brings over 30 years of construction industry experience to 3 Palms Home Watch. His military background instilled in him the capability and determination to oversee numerous construction sites effectively. Erik has held various positions, including but not limited to Site Safety Manager, NYC Construction Superintendent, FDNY Construction Site Fire Safety Manager, and an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. He has worked on projects ranging from affordable housing to luxury high-rise apartments, always maintaining a keen eye for detail and a strong alignment with clients’ needs and wishes.

Outside of work, Erik is passionate about American muscle cars, is an avid supporter of the NY Rangers, and loves spending time with family and friends.

3 Palms Home Watch offers their services to the Ave Maria community, providing homeowners with peace of mind knowing their properties are in experienced and reliable hands.
