Jessica Waugaman
Vicky’s Helping Hands of Jacksonville, Florida, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA.
President and CEO Jessica Waugaman brings nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit service, fundraising, and event planning. Before taking over the company in 2021, Jessica dedicated her career to making a difference in people's lives, working with organizations like Ascension St. Vincent’s and the North Florida School of Special Education. Passionate about creating meaningful impact, Jessica finds fulfillment in knowing her work helps others. She treats each home as if it were her own, ensuring care, attention, and dedication in every project. Jessica is honored to continue Vicky’s legacy and looks forward to expanding the company’s mission to serve those in need.
When she was 12 years old, Jessica’s family went on vacation and came home to a devastating flood. Their water heater had burst while they were gone, and no one had been there to catch it in time. They lost everything. That experience left a lasting impression on her. She has always wished they had someone checking on their home; it would have made all the difference.
Jessica’s background has given her a deep sense of purpose: helping people, building relationships, and managing complex logistics. When Jessica took over Vicky’s Helping Hands, she saw it as an opportunity to continue that mission in a more personal, hands-on way. She helps clients manage their home vendors and projects, and through Home Watch, she offers them security and peace of mind.
Having earned an Associate of Arts degree from Indian River State College, Jessica has also held a Florida Real Estate License since 2005. This has contributed to her understanding of home care, property value, client needs, and the importance of maintaining and protecting a home, especially when the owner is away.
Jessica and her husband, Kevin, have two kiddos, Raelynn and Elliott. Spending quality time with her family is one of Jessica’s greatest joys. They enjoy beach days, exploring new restaurants, and doing home projects together.
