Rob Wilder
Wilder Home Watch of Lake Forest, Illinois, has earned accreditation for its Home Watch services from the NHWA.
Owner Rob Wilder has called Lake Forest home for seven years. As a property management company owner, Rob feels fortunate to work with a wonderful variety of clients, including many snowbirds who escape the cold Chicago winters. Joining the NHWA felt like a natural next step for Rob. With the growing need for trusted professionals to monitor homes while owners are away, Rob says he’s excited to help raise awareness for these essential services and elevate the industry’s standards.
A lifelong learner, Rob holds licenses as a managing real estate broker and certified manager of community associations, as well as certifications in digital marketing, bookkeeping, venture capital, and soon, robotics. Whether through formal education or hands-on experience, Rob continually pushes himself to learn something new.
Both Rob and employee Eric Booth have graduated from the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP), placing them among the elite providers in the Home Watch industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Wilder Home Watch’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.
Giving back is essential to Rob. He has served as past president of the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Lions Club, helping to support the visually and hearing-impaired, as well as local youth. One of his most rewarding roles has been mentoring young entrepreneurs through the Lake Forest High School Business Incubator Program for over six years, helping shape the future builders of tomorrow.
Outside of work, Rob is passionate about sports; he loves starting his mornings playing basketball three times a week. That competitive energy carries over into his entrepreneurial spirit; he’s always thinking up new ideas and ventures. Rob shares his life with his wife, Samantha, his business partner and company vice president. Together, they are raising two children who’ve grown up immersed in the real estate world.
