Congratulations to Boone Home Watch of Creston, NC, on their sixth-year accreditation!​

Boone Home Watch, watching homes in the mountains around Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the sixth year.

Owner Jennifer Walker is a native North Carolinian who enjoyed summers in North Carolina and the rest of the year in Texas. She and her family had struggled with balancing homes in both places simultaneously. They would worry about packages sitting out on the porch, ladybugs overtaking their home while the family was gone (and they will do that!), wondering if the gutters were filling up, if pipes were leaking, or if the mower didn’t come, and having their yard resemble a jungle. They wondered if the house would be safe until their return. Their neighbors were always willing to help but didn’t want to bother them all the time. This is how the idea of Boone Home Watch transpired.

In May of 2018, Jen and her family made their permanent move to the mountains of North Carolina. Jen established Boone Home Watch because it’s a service she would have loved to have found, and she enjoys offering it to others in the area.

Jen has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) from the NHWA, placing her among the elite Home Watch providers in the industry and the only Certified Home Watch Professional in the Boone area. The CHWP designation shows Jen’s commitment to providing excellent client service.

Jen has a bachelor’s degree in applied learning and development from the University of Texas. She earned her NC Realtor’s license, concentrating on investment properties and the family’s vacation rental, which earned them Super Host status for their five-star reviews. Her passion is helping others enjoy their time with family when on vacation and rest assured that their home is being watched and cared for while they are gone.
