GMan Home Watch Sarasota of Venice, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA for the fifth year.

Owner Phillip Mockler, a native of South Sarasota County, brings over 25 years of combined military and law enforcement service to GMan Home Watch Sarasota. His recent retirement from the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office was marked by numerous awards and accolades, including the Heroic Achievement Award (Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office), the Sarasota Magazine Unity Award, and the Congressional Dedication and Professional Award.

Phillip utilizes his extensive security experience, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to safeguarding his community in his work with GMan Home Watch Sarasota. His law enforcement background has given him a keen understanding of safety protocols and emergency preparedness. Phillip's commitment to the community remains strong as he continues to serve South Sarasota County by working with veteran and youth organizations. He resides in Venice with his wife, Cindy, and their two boys.

Bill Sutphen has over 35 years of experience in law enforcement and firefighting, which makes him uniquely qualified for his role as Operations Manager. He has the knowledge and expertise to accurately identify potential vulnerabilities in clients' homes and take proactive steps to address them. Years of experience in law enforcement and investigations have honed Bill's attention to detail when conducting Home Watch inspections. In emergencies such as hurricanes, flooding, or other urgent incidents, Bill can quickly assess the situation and respond appropriately, minimizing damage. His leadership skills, strengthened over years of service, enable him to manage his team effectively, providing clients with top-notch service and peace of mind. Decades of dedicated service to the community have equipped Bill with solid communication skills to clearly and promptly communicate with clients, providing them with the detailed information necessary to put them at ease while they are away. Bill lives in Englewood with his wife, April, and their son.
