York Harbor Home Watch of York, ME, earns second-year accreditation from the NHWA! Congratulations!

Todd Doehner

Beth Doehner

York Harbor Home Watch of York, Maine, has earned second-year accreditation from the NHWA.

Owners Todd and Beth Doehner are native New Englanders who settled in York in 2019. Todd, a college professor with master’s degrees in English and Education, also has a maritime background, including a 100-ton master’s license from the U.S. Coast Guard. His experience in the boat building and sail-making industries, coupled with his time as a caretaker in the Florida Keys, has honed his skills in property maintenance. Todd’s interest in figuring out how things work and his knack for home improvement projects, from plumbing to deck building, make him an invaluable asset to their business.

Beth, who works in sustainability for a global manufacturer, has spent most of her career in business-to-business sales and marketing. Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Art History and a master’s degree in Hospitality Management. Beth’s 25 years of experience in business and her commitment to customer experience bring an empathetic perspective to the unique circumstances of each client.

Their interest in Home Watching stems from owning vacation homes themselves. For over a decade, Todd and Beth have owned an island property on Lake Winnipesaukee, which is inaccessible during the winter. This experience has given them first-hand knowledge of the anxiety that comes with being away from a home, as well as a unique insight into the potential issues that can arise when a property is left unoccupied for an extended period.

Both Todd and Beth are graduates of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and have earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP). These credentials place them among the elite home watch providers in the industry and demonstrate their commitment to excellence.

When not working, Todd and Beth enjoy spending as much time on the water as possible with their boats and their Labrador retrievers, Mabel and Weezy. In the winter, Beth indulges in various craft projects while Todd restores antique motors and aluminum boats.

York Harbor Home Watch serves Cape Neddick, Eliot, Kittery/Kittery Point, Ogunquit, and York. You can reach them at (207) 200-8007 or at info@yorkharborhomewatch.com. Learn more from their website, at https://www.yorkharborhomewatch.com.

Congratulations, Todd and Beth!

As always, I wish you

Much success,

Jack Luber Executive Director
