Congratulations to Texas Lake Country Home Watch of Graham, TX, on their accreditation!

Brian and Deborah Bredthauer

Texas Lake Country Home Watch of Graham, Texas, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Brian Bredthauer farmed and ranched in Haskell County, Texas, where he was born and raised. He met and married Deborah, who grew up in Breckenridge, Texas. They continued to farm and ranch while raising their sons.

Brian and Deborah took a leap of faith and moved to the mountains of New Mexico. Living in a resort presented new opportunities. Brian became a realtor, making his clients’ dreams of owning second homes in a ski resort come true. He later worked as a superintendent in city government until his retirement in 2019.

Deborah owned and operated a ski rental and retail shop, forming lasting relationships with guests and vacation homeowners. She worked in city government in positions in public works and finance. Recruited by the resort, Deborah became the country club administrator, once again connecting with members and visitors.

After Brian retired, he and Deborah returned to Texas, choosing to live in Graham to be close to family. Brian and Deborah have two sons and daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, and Deborah’s parents, all within an hour’s drive from Graham.

As a realtor, Brian recognized the need for Home Watch services. Quite often clients would ask him to check their houses. Sometimes, it was to check pipes after a hard freeze, if propane was delivered and the furnace was on, or to ensure the refrigerator or freezer was running after a power outage. You can imagine the odor after your freezer goes out and no one has checked your house in weeks. These are just a few things that, if undiscovered, can cause extensive damage in your absence.

Texas Lake Country Home Watch serves Graham, Breckenridge, Graford, Possum Kingdom Lake, Hubbard Creek Reservoir, Graham Lake, and surrounding areas. They can be reached at 940-745-8721 or brian@tlchomewatcher.com.

Welcome, Brian and Deborah!

As always, I wish you

Much success,

Jack Luber Executive Director
