Lori Mize and Paul Montealegre

Elite Property Management & Services of Tavernier, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.

After overseeing numerous projects at their own home and helping friends and neighbors manage their vacation homes, owners Paul Montealegre and Lori Mize discovered Home Watch and saw an opportunity in their small community.

Paul has been buying, flipping, and renting properties for about 23 years. His main business was petrochemical distribution in Houston, Texas. Paul obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Ferrum College in Virginia and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.

Lori’s background is in small business management; she handles the administrative and marketing aspects of the company. She has a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Florida State University.

Paul is a graduate of the NHWA’s Home Watch Boot Camp and has earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional, which places him among the elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation and Boot Camp training exemplify Paul’s commitment to Home Watch excellence.

Paul and Lori are currently engaged and will be getting married in the near future. They’ve known each other since high school and have been together since reconnecting at their 30th high school reunion several years ago. Paul has a 20-year-old son who attends the University of Arkansas.

Paul is a professional competitive shotgun shooter who travels the world. He also spends a lot of time working with plants, particularly orchids; Paul and Lori have hundreds of orchid plants in their yard. Lori spends time working at her other business, providing flowers for weddings and special events in the Upper Florida Keys. Together, Lori and Paul love being on the water and enjoying days off on their boat.
