Ginger Stanley

The Home Watch Team of Ormond Beach, Florida, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.

Owner Ginger Stanley grew up in Missouri and moved to Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1998. She has had an interest in science and mold since elementary school. Ginger worked as a medical transcriptionist for many years. She then studied criminal justice at Daytona Beach Community College and worked for attorneys for three years.

In 2001, Ginger opened a carpet cleaning, water damage restoration, fire damage, and mold remediation company. She took numerous certification courses to expand her knowledge of the industry, and for the next 14 years, she continued to own and operate the company, even doing some storm chasing!

In 2014, Ginger focused more on mold inspection and testing services, and in 2015, Mold Spec was launched. For the last eight years, she has been doing mold inspection and testing and writing protocols, which are detailed reports on what needs to be done for mold remediation. Since 2011, Ginger is licensed as a mold assessor and mold remediator and has conducted numerous mold inspections for absentee property owners who would come to their vacation homes and discover water damage and mold. They would ask her if she could recommend anyone who could watch their property to prevent this from happening again. When Ginger realized she didn’t know anyone she could recommend, she knew she needed to expand her knowledge and business into Home Watch. In May of 2024, The Home Watch Team was born.

The Home Watch Team serves Volusia and Flagler Counties, including Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Ormond Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Ponce Inlet, Edgewater, Deland, Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, Holly Hill, Deltona, Orange City, Deleon Springs, Lake Helen, and Astor.
