Michelle Stevens

Hometown Home Watching of Port Charlotte, Florida, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Owner Michelle Stevens moved to Port Charlotte in 1991 from Pennsylvania. She initially planned to stay for just a semester of college, but she quickly fell in love with the area, particularly enjoying the beach lifestyle. Over the years, Michelle has witnessed Port Charlotte’s growth and development, making her well acquainted with the community and its needs.

Michelle’s career began in the hospitality industry, where she managed and trained employees, honing her skills in customer service and operations. She later earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, further enhancing her understanding of people and their needs.

Michelle became a licensed real estate agent 25 years ago, working in her family’s real estate and development company, as a model-home salesperson. This role allowed her to assist clients in building their homes, sparking her passion for the real estate industry. Over the years, Michelle expanded her expertise by working as a realtor, property manager, vacation rental manager, Home Watcher, and office manager.

Michelle and her husband, Greg, who is also a realtor, have collaborated on numerous real estate transactions, particularly focusing on absentee owners. Their combined experience in real estate gives them a keen eye for identifying potential issues in properties. Michelle and Greg are committed to providing a service that not only protects their clients’ investments but also respects their privacy. Confidentiality and strong ethical standards are at the core of their business.

Michelle and Greg pride themselves on their strong communication skills and commitment to being "Always there, when you can’t be." This motto reflects their dedication to offering reliable and thorough Home Watch services, giving homeowners peace of mind while they are away.
